My mechanic told me that most Alfa V6's are now 50% Helicoil by weight and volume.

Good luck with that. I had to hire a guy to drill out a broken stud for my timing belt tensioner. Took a couple of hours of drilling, than 20 minutes to get the Helicoil in. It's perfect now.

That one isn’t mine, but I have a similar problem on my old truck. It’s the rear-most stud, the one hiding under the a/c evaporator box.

Again, this isn’t my truck, but it’s the same engine as mine. It’s inaccessible from underneath, so I have to pull the evap coil to get to it.
